As two other reviewers noted, the entire stand feels solid. Unfortunately, after a single use, all the important main clamp screws loosened and no longer hold the bike. It's a pity that quality control didn't notice this fatal error. I am returning this stand.

It feels solid and I would love it, but I would also really like to be able to use it. The clamp that holds the bike has a nut/bolt that is so poorly machined that it slips off preventing me from using the stand. I hope the seller replies/sends a working part, otherwise you will have to return it. The seller solved this problem well.

Simply put this is my first bike stand and I was on a tight budget after buying the bike. It didn't cost too much and fitted well into my limited workspace and it did the job of holding my fat bike just the way I needed it so I could clean and work on it. Unless you have a bike with traditional frame tubes, this is a very well built stand. I used it on a new mountain bike with a curved top tube and big down tube like a lot of new mountain bikes these days. The clamp is too small for the large down tube.
