Just got it delivered a few minutes ago and it's already broken. I've used it a few times and gotten a decent read. (As an aside, a pH meter is not the easiest to read as the numbers without decimals are very small). Pulling it out of the ground a few times, I noticed that one of the probes had lost its tip. Very disappointing. Haven't had a chance to test other items but bought this primarily for a soil tester.

I bought this PH meter kit, other meters didn't interest me. I've read a lot of bad reviews about the soil meter and digital pH meter so here's what I did to make sure I was giving them a fair chance: 1) Follow directions for use 2) Calibrated 2) Used distilled water for testing 3) Test bought strips ph as a comparison tool. The end result was that the readings were very inaccurate and I could not rely on them to determine the pH of the soil in my garden.

This is a pretty good deal. The pH meter is decent and does what it is supposed to do. It's pretty accurate after calibration! I bought this because I'm tired of guessing exactly where I'm trying to match the color of the water to the paper chart. However, I guessed pretty well, it turns out! For all the meters you get, this is a pretty good deal! However, the soil moisture sensor is practically useless!

Basically I bought it to find out why big brown spots are appearing this year. A friend of ours recommended doing a soil pH test, reading the directions carefully, and digging about 3-4 inches underground, and it all turned out to be very alkaline. is not absorbed into the grass and does not stop its growth. Like:1) pH tester comes with calibration chemicals 2) Two (2) TDS meters are included in this kit. I do not know why. One is slightly better, but still. 3) Although accuracy is questionable, the soil meter is sensitive to sunlight and my 4000w full spectrum grow light also shows soil moisture.
