- Hello everyone, I am a professional photographer in the direction of Wedding and Fashion-Wedding. I've been shooting with a Sony mirrorless camera for 2.5 years. I also shoot street photography very often and travel a lot, and the Sony 12-24 G lens has fired me up since its release. Not only for landscapes, but also for wedding shoots, an ultra-wide angle was sorely lacking. I fell in love with this lens right away, at 12 mm everything is sharp, there is no barrel, and the geometry break is minimal - JUST A SHOCK. With the help of this baby, you can see the world differently. A big advantage is its weight, the camera is in harmony with it in weight. Immediately there is a regular lens hood, the build quality is at the level. But what it does against the sun is generally, this lens doesnβt care about the sun-focusing at a high level, the focusing speed is just fire (a HUGE plus for that). In general, a huge admiration.
Cons
- This lens has one drawback for me, that it is impossible to screw on the protective filter, of course, an unpleasant factor, but not critical for me personally.
