Very sharp photos throughout the range, a great lens for the camera in a variety of situations, be it portrait, landscape or something else. Ideal for street photography where no fast lens is required. This lens has a nice quality feel to it. Combined with the A7iii and image stabilisation, it allows for slightly slower shutter speeds than normal handheld shutter speeds, as can be seen in the attached night shot.

I bought this to get rid of my 28-70 kit and to complement my 85mm 1.8. Once I put it on and take a picture, these lenses may not detach from my camera. Colors are great, focus is fast and images are sharp. Here are some examples. I would have used my 85mm 1.8 on some of them but didn't need to. When I needed shallow depth, I stopped between 85-105mm and F4. Comfortable in hand, shoot naturally. I am attaching some of my patterns.

Don't listen to anyone who belittles this lens except because of the price! I'm a professional with 30 years of lens sampling experience. This SHARIE lens is wide open. Some barrel distortion at 24mm but easy to fix. Good colors and fantastic bokeh with 9 petals. IS works fantastic on the new A7R3 and focusing is very fast. Simply outstanding in every way. Better than the Short Range 24-70/2.8 and almost half the price. expensive glass, while most of us who used to shoot with Kodachrome 25 or 64 now start at ISO 800-1600 and don't think twice because digital lenses are so clean and sharp. me. So I replaced my SEL2470Z with this 25105G mainly for better coverage. I was expecting a slight drop in absolute image quality, but I was dead wrong. This lens is as good if not better than the Zeiss, probably because of the OSS. I'm using it now on my A7Riii case which also lacks stabilization. Even in low light, the pictures are beautiful.
