Squeaking Noises in Accessories and Consumables

These tapes produce a squeaking noise that you can hear during both recording and playback. This could possibly be due to dirt or a lack of lubrication, but should not happen with new belts.

For those analog living in the digital world

I don't often record anything on tape, so I use my portable tape recorder when I do. I've thought about buying a digital audio recorder, but it costs about $30. I was able to buy these tapes for less than $2. Given how long it took to download the sound from my new digital audio recorder to my computer, and then the time to burn the CD (my computer is old and incredibly slow), I had the time and money ahead. I have used the bands several times since purchasing them. I act in plays and use…

    Pros
    • Easy to use
    Cons
    • Quick start guide

Sony is an amazing audio cassette brand - glad they still make them!

What can I say? These are blank audio cassettes from Sony, a big brand, and they work great on my old fashioned tape recorder. I don't use it much these days, but when I do I'm glad Sony audio cassettes are still around! (I am sending recorded "letters" to a friend)

    Pros
    • Finally bought
    Cons
    • Some disadvantages
