And it still works fine. It's great for kids and for you

I bought this camera a few years ago. And it still works fine. It's great for kids and yourself. I've used it many times and I'm happy with it. The price is right, you won't regret it.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I'm worried

This is a good point and shot

This is a good point and shot. I had a similar Sony model that got crushed when someone sat on it. Bought as a replacement as I liked the one I had before. The only thing I would wish for is the view through the viewfinder. My old one had one. Useful when there is a lot of glare and it is difficult to see the built-in screen.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Good Selection of Best DSLR Cameras

I was very nervous about buying the right camera and I have to say I was very impressed with this one. I'm not a photographer, just a normal mom who likes to take random pictures. I wanted something simple, fast shooting, long lasting improvement, lots of storage space and enough options to do different things but not so confusing that I would never use them. That definitely fits the bill.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Be careful - it breaks easily!

This is NOT a rugged camera. The first trip I took it on was overseas and I stumbled. The fall wasn't strong and the camera was closed and in my purse. However, the screen broke and I couldn't take any more photos for the rest of the trip. I give 2 stars because the few shots I took were ok and I liked the beautiful blue color of the camera. My other objection is that the memory card used by Sony is proprietary and not a standard card that can be swapped out for other cameras. Next time I will…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Is not that great. And it's terrible to photograph in it.

I can't really decide if it's worth the money or not. It's very comfortable and stylish and has many modes for you to play with. But the quality of the enlarged image is not very good. And shooting in the dark is awful - or maybe I haven't figured out how to do it right yet. As far as point and shoot cameras go, this one isn't bad for general travel photography. Not the best choice if you're obsessed with capturing distant or highly detailed images. However, it works for my amateur needs, hence

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Clarity

Can't believe how much storage this little camera takes!

The camera is nice, but with some flaws. The first is that I couldn't use my old SD card from a broken Panasonic, and the "Duo" cards this one uses cost half as much as a camera for the same GB! I liked the intuitive controls, but the icons on the camera wheel were so tiny that they would be difficult to work with. Also, the font size in the booklet that comes with the kit is very small. (Do they really have anything against people with bifocals?) It's also disappointing that the brochure…

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Without automatic control
