This was returned due to issues with the drive door closed and no cable in the camcorder. The seller refunded the money very well after the goods were returned. I put the seller 100%, but the goods are so-so. Maybe that's why Sony stopped making them.

You can never go wrong with purchasing Sony products. I had a small Sony cassette recorder and then switched to a Sony mini DVD recorder. Then my daughter-in-law had a baby and I gave her my Sony mini DVD recorder. Then I bought this for myself and lovemit. It has excellent picture and sound quality. Sony good quality and lasts a long time. Would recommend. It also captures still images.

The operating instructions are not easy to understand when checking small parts, you learn with this product primarily through practice and experimentation. Out of production. The resolution is only 720 x 480 compared to newer HD camcorders that are 1920 x 1080. Compared to newer models, this camcorder is overpriced without built-in memory. For a similarly priced HD camcorder, you get higher resolution. After purchasing the basic camcorder, you can purchase an external charger, memory card, mini DVD, detachable grip with mini tripod, and battery with more storage (NP-FV100) so you can film longer.
