Great technique! But after I downloaded the movie files to my computer, created my movie using SONY software, and created a DVD, the video quality of the final product was no better than a VHS tape. I expected much more clarity from a SONY HD camcorder. I bought this camera as my first camcorder and I can't say I'm disappointed. Battery life is decent when not using Nightshot. If you use a memory card instead of a hard drive, it will also last longer. The display is very easy to navigate and very touch sensitive. Overall usability - 5 stars.
