I have had Sony DVD players for years and they are still in perfect condition! That was for my bedroom. This is for the living room! I am very happy with Sony! Never had a problem. Never!

For its size and economy, it delivers amazing image quality. And even someone who isn't tech savvy like me could connect it. It's a sleek little device that's barely noticeable yet provides hours of crystal clear entertainment! Certainly a gem of a Sony product and I recommend it wholeheartedly!

Instructions for connecting a DVD player to a TV are inadequate and misleading. You'll need a second power cord as advertised, but it doesn't tell you which ports to use. You need a second power cord to connect Pb and Pr. This connection provides the color. The red, white and yellow power cord that came with the player connects to the TV as follows: white to the left audio input, red to the right audio input, yellow to the video input. When connected to an HD TV, the picture is excellent. .

This junk arrived without a coaxial cable! I've had many DVD players and this is the first that didn't have this important component. And now that most stores are still closed, good luck finding a part. You should at least have warned about that when you bought it. Of course, you can go to Revain and find a cable three times more expensive than in the store, but then again, they are all closed. I WILL NEVER BUY A SONY PRODUCT AGAIN. I haven't had any luck with their products.
