Excellent quality and easy to use

We use this for a high school broadcast crew that covers live sporting events live and on TV. Easy to use, durable, functions are easy to understand, the picture is clear.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Hard to say

Affordable professional camcorder

I don't like the lens cap, I'm afraid it will get lost or get in the way. The picture quality is really good. Warning: Your film requires additional editing and creative software. I like that it shoots videos remotely and looks good. For the price you can't go wrong, good film

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Damaged

Great shoulder camcorder

This is a great value solution when you need a shoulder camcorder for extra stability. However, if you're looking for cinema quality, I'd look elsewhere. I bought it thinking I'm going to get a great picture but it's not. However, it was my fault for not doing proper research, not the cameras. It's perfect for family videos.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Fair

Excellent value for money and quality.

This camera works great. The 1/3 sensor bothered me, but it helps in low light. Great camera to carry over the shoulder. Not the kind of camera I would use for film style shots (moving the camera around a lot). Face tracking is my favorite feature. Note. The camera audio is weak, but the Zoom Recorder should be used anyway. I still use an overhead mic to help punch the clapper for sound sync.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Sony HXRMC200 Camera & Photo

It's a beast, and I don't mean "maybe". An absolute workhorse. We switch to it with the VX-2100 and I'm blown away. Once you get comfortable with the menu system, you can quickly transition to full manual control, and for day-to-day use, the automatic mode is just the answer. Eventually you'll need a heavier tripod - but that's to be expected. I'm not a fan of the included mic as it's "stereo" and I prefer to use pistol mics, but pistol mics don't bite the price anymore. This is NOT a camcorder

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
