I had to buy a digital voice recorder for an important training course and to my surprise this tiny voice recorder worked perfectly! It is small, compact and very light. It took 8 hours and I easily downloaded all the files to my computer daily. Lasts a very long time and has a USB for charging and downloading to a computer. Very easy to use and highly recommend this recorder!

I am very happy with this purchase. I needed a simple and reliable device as I hate spending hours installing a new device and learning how to use it. This little one is up and running in minutes. So far, battery life has seemed decent and audio quality excellent, although I've only recorded conversations in environments with minimal background noise so far. Overall good value for money.

I give weekly lectures that need to be recorded. In the past, the room our group is staying in recorded for us on their AV equipment. It was great, but we forced them to work extra and were at their mercy. We decided to try this product. The quality is the same as recording with AV equipment when the recorder is a foot away. It contains an insane amount of entries. And it is very easy to transfer to my computer. I highly recommend this product.

This compact voice recorder is great for both meeting (voice) and music (instruments) recording. Due to the many functions, it is a little difficult to get used to the user manual at first, but it is easy enough. You can save files to folders you create, add track markers, and copy files to your computer simply by removing and reconnecting a USB drive. I always take this thing with me to record random thoughts and memories. Playback quality is excellent (for my applications).

Works great except it won't work with an 8 GIG Class 6 SD card Used 8 GIG Class 4 OK. I can try class 4 with 16 or 32 gigabytes just for testing. Maybe Sony Kahn? What a thought. I wish the manufacturer would specify what class of SD card (speed) works on it so I wouldn't waste money on one that doesn't work. The file structure is easy to use (copy to). You can easily copy and paste MP3 files to your SD card (and internal storage) from Windows 7 or 8. The filenames are also pretty easy to read.

The sound quality is pretty decent but not amazing. We use this recorder in combination with a Countryman B6 to mike our brides on their wedding day. We tried to find something small and light so we could attach the voice recorder to the bride's leg next to her garter. It definitely fits the bill. I just wish it put out a little more power through the mic input so we can use the cheaper Countryman B3. I also wish it could record WAV over 16-bit 44.1kHz (CD quality). It would be nice to have…

Bought after my Olympus WS600S died unexpectedly after a year and a half. I really liked it but the battery wasn't rechargeable so I considered the Olympus WS802 but the Sony was a bit cheaper and I was concerned that the new Olympus might not last longer than the old one.
