Received my used pair but not scolded. These are OG studio monitors without the "color" that most modern audiophile headphones have. I bought this unit thinking it would be better than the MDR-V6 which I have had for almost 35 years based on Zeos recommendation. It's not like this. When I bought it I bought replacement ear pads which also fit the V6 for comfort as standard ear pads are cheap and put them on the headphones while listening.
