Great soundstage

Such a solid construction. very convenient. The sound is pleasant. does not blow out socks. The first thing you'll notice is the soundstage. However, the more energy you throw at it, the better it sounds. You need at least a solid watt

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Long wait

Very comfortable: headphones

With 4.4 mm headphone jack for HI-Res sound, also with standard jack for other devices such as laptop or telephone, very comfortable and noise-cancelling, very clear sound and adjustable for every head.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not the best

Great Hi-Res Sound!

These headphones have a built in DAC and I can play high definition (24bit/192kHz) music from Revain HD music that I downloaded from my iPad Pro. You need a cable to connect your headphones to your iPad Pro. With Bluetooth alone (no cables) you get slightly better (24-bit/48kHz) sound quality than a CD.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great headphones from Sony

These are my favorite headphones. Amazing build quality. Amazing sound quality. Looks great! I have nothing bad to say about these wonderful headphones. You can find them for less than Revain's retail price, but to be honest I paid full retail price and I think they're worth every penny. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Can't remember

Best Over-Ear Headphones Under $1,000

I needed over-ear headphones and while I tried the Focal Stella and liked them, $3,000 was outside of my budget. I've had a lot of Sony headphones and build quality has always been an issue, but they're beautifully made. The sound seems to get better the longer I use them. With 70mm drivers, I thought the bass might be bloated or slow, but it's not. My favorite headphones and they are definitely worth it. Price, except now I rarely take my Sennheiser or Grados.

Pros
  • Feel Good
Cons
  • Speed

Great headphones: Headphones

I have the original MDRz7 and it's a good upgrade. They managed to make the sound more transparent at medium and high frequencies compared to the previous version. I had the best Z1s in the line but I returned them because they bothered my ears a lot. I also brought back Focal Clears and Mr Speaker's Ether C. I currently have a Hifiman HE6SE which I hook up to my SET tube amps and an Edition xx which I use with an Aurender Flow DAC, but lately I've been using a Sony MDRz7 Mark 1 because I like…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
