More than enough for a pro.

I'm a professional and yes, that's enough for any professional job. To qualify I have a successful photography business and have been in the industry since I was 16 years old. Now I am 32 years old. I've shot with cameras of all levels and 4 bad Nikons in a row showed me the way to the mirrorless revolution. I have had many mirrorless cameras from Olympus, Fuji and Sony. Let me just say that my Sony mirrorless cameras are my dream set. I finally got rid of Equipment Acquisition Syndrome. I…

Pros

Professional Photographer INCREDIBLY IMPRESSIVE! I bought this camera for "family fun" and vacation cameras (when I don't want to lug around our heavy professional bodies and lenses). Features: The AP-C size sensor is truly amazing. The picture quality is fantastic. The viewfinder is appreciated and functional! Pros: - Image quality rivals my old D7000 which was much heavier, bigger, bulkier and more expensive - Wi-Fi is a GREAT feature! Now I can take professional-quality photos and send them…

Spectacular photos from a beginner. Great camera.

I'm not the type of person who gives 5 star reviews very often. I'm not sure I've ever had that. 5 stars means perfection (at least for me) and nothing is perfect. However, this is a BIG camera. It replaced my NEX5N that I had stolen while on vacation (yes all vacation shots are in camera). I was actually thinking about just buying a phone with a really good camera, but since the only lens that was on the camera (Tamron 18-200) was included when it was stolen, I still had 2 lenses and a spare…

The Sony A6000 is by far the best camera you can get for your money.

The Sony a6000 is by far the best camera you can get for your money and it's a steal if like me you can get a decent deal. The A6000 is the first regular camera I've bought in my life. I dabbled in photography here and there, with cameras given to me by relatives, and of course nothing special. When phones came out with cameras, which became my main photography tool, I always thought that a regular camera is overkill these days. I was wrong. Packed with features, this camera has everything a…

Difficult Sometimes difficult

This rating will evolve as I get to know the camera better. They provide a quick guide of about 30 pages that doesn't cover the camera features and it's difficult to find a 200+ page guide online that covers everything and even a longer guide doesn't explain everything. The electronic viewfinder is great, I think it's better than the optical viewfinder on a DSLR in a way because it lets you know if there are any issues, such as blurring. B. the color balance, with the image you want to capture.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No achievement
