EXTREMELY BAD BATTERY

I had the previous model for two years but accidentally got water on it. I can tell you one thing for sure: the battery life of this device is NOT GOOD than the previous one. A full charge lasts a maximum of 3+ hours. While the version before that lasted more like 12-16 hours. Not good. UPDATE: I bought this on 09/22/2017, now on 07/22/2018 I am buying a new MP3 player. The device will not hold a decent charge; after 2 hours of normal use, the power goes out. Then, after it's been off for a…

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE to transfer playlists from PC to device.

If you have playlists on PC, you CANNOT transfer them with this device. This is a known issue, I've researched the web and many people have come to the same conclusion, if you contact Sony directly they will end up telling you the same thing. You'll have to use Windows Media Player for this (don't even bother if you have iTunes), but this device doesn't support the newer WMP software. So if you have an old laptop that is still running Windows XP or Vista, you can get it working. Otherwise you…

Very disappointed. in Portable Audio & Video

I have an old Sony NWZS544 that I almost beat to death and I bought this to replace it (I thought it was an upgrade). No! This is a cheap plastic toy comparable to the lowest quality Chinese clones. In fact, it's made in China (which doesn't necessarily mean that all well-known Chinese brands are bad, but it's widely considered low-budget and low-quality). Transfer software is terrible. It cannot import a playlist from WMP, although it is clearly stated on their web that it can. The transfer…

Having owned a Walkman for 35 years, some thoughts on the Sony E394 compared to previous ones Models mentioned in the comments and questions. The review reflects the one I wrote for the E395 (black 16GB model - images I reuse) which is no longer available from Sony and whose product page is no longer on Revain. There were numerous comments pointing to the failure of the front buttons. Of course, after a year, the front controls also became unreliable for me. For example, if you press the…
