Description of Sony Playstation PS3 Copper Heatsink Yellow

Contents = 2 copper shims + 3.5g tube of Arctic Silver 5. Shims are used between the CPU/GPU and heatsinks to provide better cooling for your PS3. Shims are 42MM X 42MM and are 1.2MM thick. 100% copper, cut and polished.

Copper pads and Arctic Silver as described

This kit didn't repair my PS3 itself but it didn't seem to damage anything. I had to do an oven reflow to get a permanent fix. One complaint: they hardly give you arctic silver. The tube is probably about the size of a peanut M&M.

Worked perfectly repaired 2 PS3's with no problems

Excellent. I have successfully repaired 2 PS3s with them with no problems. I have experience assembling and repairing electronics and I believe that any negative review on this product is the result of a failed repair attempt. This will not fix the chipset, it will only prevent the chip from overheating in the future. Worth every penny. Thank you 3RedLightFix!

Pleases! c: best in Computer Components

Like! Comes with what was in a bubble envelope and arrived early in the day (via UPS). The only big problem is that I accidentally blew a SMALL microfuse. YLOD woo! Luckily one of my cousins has a PS3 that I could borrow. Anyway, there is a THICK paste in the tube of thermal paste, which is really easy to smooth out and spread (a mini M&M amount). and then put the copper pad on it. :)
