Outstanding bass in a portable boombox.

Best bass sound in a portable system. Reminds me of my heavy but powerful JVC radio from the late 90's. Unfortunately, the treble is capped to compensate for the deep bass, even when the app's EQ settings are maxed out.

dynamic range. Powerful Bass

I love the ability to add an instrument or microphone. This speaker has good sound range. Because of the excellent quality, you have to accept the size. The smaller models I listened to didn't pack the punch that this one did. For some reason I couldn't connect my MacBook Pro. More troubleshooting.

Great sound but not that durable considering it's a portable speaker

I've had this speaker for about 2 months and within 2 weeks of owning it Fabric covering it slightly torn. And the side panel fell off. I can't find the side cover and the Sony parts department doesn't have this part to replace. Since the damage is not related to speaker function, these issues are not covered under warranty and there is nothing they can do. I can pay for shipping and repairs, but Sony won't cover it. Sound and bass are excellent, but being marketed as a very solid floorstanding

Time will tell

The speaker sounds great and the battery life is great too. However, I have an issue where the speaker turns back on after turning it off. in the exchange process. I'm not sure if it's a software or hardware issue with the speaker.
