🎙️ Sony TCM-323 Cassette Recorder - Standard Grade Review

I've owned one of these for 10 or 15 years and use it regularly. It just always worked. Management is easy and convenient even in the dark. Recording and playback are clear. Batteries are easy to change. It's compact and its physical design is simple and timeless. My original TCM-323 was stolen so I bought an identical unit to replace it. I am completely satisfied with this voice recorder for everyday voice recording.

Music is distorted due to speed spread! The batteries were fully charged, so no problem. The tapes were of good quality. The pinch roller seemed to have enough pressure on the pulley. I hate complaining or asking for a refund but this is a bad product which I didn't expect from a Sony product. It's good for the voice and will be recorded so I'm keeping it. I bought this "SONY" as a gift for an elderly relative who has not switched to new technologies, but has a collection of cassettes that he likes a lot. I hesitated before paying that much but tried a cheaper one that didn't work properly. The attached picture shows what happened when I put the cassette in and tried to play it for him.
