pretty solid, decent sound

I already have three pairs of these and they last almost 10 years. The only reason I replaced my previous two pairs was because I lost them! One on the back of an airplane seat. They're pretty durable. The winding housing helps avoid common wire breaks. The sound is good, not great, but I don't mind sacrificing durability and comfort. I have the second set as a backup in case I lose them again!

Pros
  • Twin Turbo schematic
Cons
  • Secret

Good sound, good reliability

I've had these headphones for over a year now and I'm 100% happy with them. I only use them for training and running. They have pretty good sound, a nice carrying case and have lasted over a year. I've had no issues with them falling out of my ears or shorting the wire. I actually use a zip tie to keep the cable from getting so long when running. Anyway, no problem. These are probably the best in-ear headphones I've ever bought. I'm so happy I'm ordering another pair.

Pros
  • 13.5mm drivers are used because of their small size and light weight
Cons
  • Not the best

good as long as it lasts (update)

Update (9-1-2010) The sound on one side was gone after about a year of use, which is pretty impressive considering the knocks these earbuds have endured. I'm considering buying another pair. Another thing to be wary of is the foam covers which tend to slide off. ____Bought this pair of headphones because of the reviews pointing to their durability and the storage box. That's still going on. The sound quality is quite decent for the price. With foam pads, they are actually quite comfortable…

Pros
  • Strong neodymium magnet. Connectivity Technology: Wired
Cons
  • Negative Impression

They really are the best

I always use in ear headphones when walking, for some reason full sized headphones give me a headache. So I always assumed that I would never have a clean sound. No longer! These headphones are wonderful. The musical range that I like is very diverse. They sound great for all types, and the most amazing thing is their ability to handle resonant bass on some of the newer songs. I'm really amazed, actually. It's weird to have such good stereo sound when walking your dog. One problem is that I…

Pros
  • Directional bass cap to boost bass
Cons
  • Merchandise

waterproof - so far

I used over-ear headphones for many years and then started using over-ear headphones. But they kept shorting out, either because I was sweating in my ears or because the cable connection on the earphone kept coming loose. After going through 3 of these in about 1 1/2 years I decided to get the ones you put in your ear. I was afraid they would fall out while running, but so far that hasn't happened. I have to lay the cable that goes to the iPod in front of me because if I run it down my back it…

Pros
  • Neodymium magnets provide maximum power in the smallest size
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Use Sponge Thingys

Update: Durability is not as expected. After a few months of moderate daily use (MP3 player in shirt pocket) commuting to and from work, the connection between the cables and the stereo jack begins to fail. Regular body movement causes disconnects and I don't expect these headphones to last the rest of the year. It's a shame because they produce a good sound.----------------------------------------------------- - ----------------------------------------- --------- - wore them for several months

Pros
  • Lightweight
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
