Would give 5 stars but...

Perfect in every way and I use it all the time. I ordered 2.5. I am 62 years old and nearsighted. I wear contact lenses but need reading glasses over my contact lenses. Years ago, my optometrist and eye doctor warned me that I would eventually need reading glasses instead of contacts. So they are perfect for my handbag because they are thin, very comfortable and very light. They fold like normal glasses, but are very thin and fit into the tube. The tube is lined with plastic to avoid scratching

Pros
  • quality construction
Cons
  • socket required

Ideal for lower thickness computer screens.

I like these glasses but they are not ideal for long reading. But to be clear, I liked them so much that I bought two more pairs of different strengths. I was looking for glasses for computer work and my optometrist's assistant told me I needed glasses with a lower scale limit of 1.25 or 1. I had to try both for a great price and they fit very well. I use 1.0 for my big screen home PC and stay away from it. I use 1.25 for my laptop which I sit closer to. I will be using 1.25 at work when…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Lenses are extremely cheap and inaccurate around the edges.

Spend an additional $3 per pair and get Able Vision. They (probably) invented these things and they are better. Both Able Vision and Soolala are identical in every respect but one. The pocket clip breaks easily, the cases dent easily (although they protect), I have over ten pairs of these in different stores and colors and I have a hard time putting the glasses back into a cheap case. That being said, I love these reading glasses in a tube because they're clear, wearable, and yes, they're very…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
