Description of Sorbothane Soft Blow Mallet Small 5.5-Ounce

SOFTER THAN MOST: We made this mallet's head from pure Sorbothane, a soft, synthetic-viscoelastic urethane polymer that has been used in products like shock absorbers. Unlike other rubber mallets on the market, which can leave dents, scratches, or dings if struck against a surface too hard, our soft-blow mallet can hit an object's surface with powerful strikes without marring or damaging it. ACCURATE PRECISION: The balance between the soft Sorbothane head and the durable wooden handle allows for a high amount of precision no matter how you swing. Don't use an unbalanced rubber mallet when you could have a high-quality mallet that can hit an object's surface with unbeatable accuracy every time. GREAT FOR FURNITURE ASSEMBLY: Our mallet is the perfect tool to use when putting together furniture of all shapes and sizes. With this mallet, you could build a desk, cabinet, table, or nightstand, or you can install hardwood flooring in your home without worrying about the mallet doing any damage. Bumps, scrapes, and scratches should come after years of use, not right after installation. EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR WOODWORKING: This mallet can be a craftsman's favorite tool in the workshop. With its ease of use and strong yet soft impact, creating works of art, furniture, toys, or instruments can be a hassle-free experience. The neutral blue and light brown of this mallet also makes it easy to share a space with all the other hand tools in your kit. HEAVY-DUTY CONSTRUCTION: We had a goal to design the perfect soft-blow mallet that could last forever. We did just that, creating a mallet with a high-quality Sorbothane head that won't chip, break, or fall off the handle. We paired this with a strong wooden handle that features ideal head support for powerful swings.

Like a giant blue marshmallow

I was thinking of giving this tool 4 stars because it's very soft, but it would be wrong because it protects your product perfectly. Keep in mind that it's REALLY soft, almost runny, and I can actually curl up and weep on the pieces of furniture I make and assemble without the slightest trace of damage. Of the three options, I bought the heaviest hammer, which suited me perfectly. Anyway, it might be too easy and I'll have to resort to another of my dead hammers to get the more complex parts in

BEST SOFT HAMMERS - Hammers

Bought two hammers, small and medium. These are the best SOFT hammers I have ever used. They were advertised in some woodworking magazines but I had trouble finding where to buy them. Finally found it on AMAZON. They are very soft and not too light. When it comes to assembling wood projects, they are the best! Wooden and other soft-nosed mallets were used, which left dents even with light blows. THIS IS NOT! I can hit soft wood really hard and it might break the board, but it won't dent! These…

Amazing Carpenter's Hammer

This is a great hammer. I bought this to use in assembling cabinets for a front frame cabinet project. The size of the head and its density provides reliably persuasive persuasion of parts of the subject with little or no rebound. I particularly like it as an alternative to the rubber mallet, which is a little heavy for finished pieces of wood, and as an alternative to the denser automotive-style no-crush hammers which still have a risk of denting due to the smaller heads than these. . If…
