Excellent amplifier. in Home Audio

This amp has been great so far. Clear sound and great performance from my Dayton Utimax 10" portable music box. Amplifier features make setup easy. Auto on/off works as expected. Nice.

Non-Rackmountable - Home Audio

I bought this because it was meant to be rackmountable. The holes for the rackmount brackets are all uneven. The screws don't fit at all. Do not buy this if you intend to rack mount it. Update: I received a partial refund for purchasing various hardware store screws. Anyway, I don't think other screws are the solution. It looks like the holes need to be drilled so the screw goes in straight and not crooked.

Probably the best value for money available

While I really like this amp there is one issue that really annoys me and that is the menu navigation. To access menu item 6 you have to go through the previous 5 points manually. I'm sure the direct access menu would incur some cost, so I won't go into that. The amp itself is good enough for my application, I wouldn't call it great. General; 400 watt amplifier with DSP? What offer! I am very happy with this purchase

Works well with my Buttkicker LFE

I don't really use this product for its intended purpose but it was the cheapest replacement amp I could find to power my Buttkicker LFE at the right power level. It seems to have worked well so far and the different options have allowed me to refine the setting. There's not really a precise volume control, but I just adjust the output on my receiver when needed. Overall, it does its job well so far without being too big, heavy, or expensive.

Powerful good unit

I have been using this for about a month to power a pair of 12 inch subwoofers. Very powerful and clear sound. Note the input selector on the back of the unit. The device started and worked, but then shut down after a few minutes because it was set to a 12V trigger input. Set it to Auto and it will turn on automatically when you play music. Excellent subwoofer at a great price

2 years ago we had a professional installer set up a home theater system using two 10" subwoofer in-wall speakers with an additional SA1000 amplifier, however only the subamp blew up last month for no reason.
