The back pocket is wide enough for a boy's shorts. The fabric is much thicker than expected. The shorts have tags with a retail price of $44, but they're only $16. So I recommend these shorts based on my listed size.

I love Ben my 6 year old loves her. They sit perfectly on top of him and go below his knee! -What else can I say! It is very difficult to find shorts below the knee. I have two older boys who are not very tall but are probably slightly above average for their age. It's almost impossible to find shorts that fit their tiny waists and hit below the knee.
