Rigid riding rope

Very stiff and dense noseband. Difficult to put on due to stiffness and tight noseband. It also feels like the shape of the noseband is putting constant pressure on the horse's nose, even when the rope or reins are not being used. Use on 15xx Paint.

Pros
  • The best of its kind
Cons
  • Compatibility

Fall apart after 4 uses

Before it fell apart I really liked this braided side pull and my horse responded well to it too. Used four times and unraveled both sides. There were only a few stitches holding the sides together so it wouldn't be safe to continue using it. upset. In the beginning it looked really great.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Good but not great

Works well in halters

Use this to train our mare in wedding dress. Ideal for overhead and ear row training as well as side row training. But the noseband is a bit big and not adjustable so it rubs on the nose. gotta wear it I've shortened my wedding dress twice and don't want it to be much shorter. In addition, the packaging on the lower part of the jaw is already disintegrating.

Pros
  • Easy to use

Looks/works well but may fall apart.

I like the bridle and it works well on my horse. The only problem I have is that it's slow to unravel and I've only used it a couple of times. The thin black rope at the neckline and where you adjust it to the face broke off when you adjusted it to the face (the bridle still works but doesn't look that good/may rub. The neck rope is long so I landed I tie it twice and hide the excess.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

Good sidepull hackamore

This is a good sidepull hackamore and it seems to be well made with lots of reinforcement where needed. As far as I can tell my horse has a perfectly medium sized head. I got a "bridleless bridle" first but it blew her mind completely so I bought a leather sidebar but it didn't fit her head. I finally found this adjustable nylon side tensioner and so far it seems to be working. The stitching also gives nice accents to the details on the nose and brow bone.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
