Not Worth the Investment

My analysis of this product showed that it simply does not hold up to heavy duty use. The connector frequently comes loose and creates an unreliable connection. While it may be inexpensive, the cost of constantly replacing it outweighs any initial savings.

Pros
  • Inexpensive
Cons
  • Unreliable, frequently comes loose.

Not exactly as advertised.

Although this adapter cable works as supplied, it was advertised with a "molded plug". When it arrived the fork wasn't molded, it was a "replacement style" fork. If I had known there was no such thing as a molded fork I would not have ordered this item.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Cable meets the National Electrical Code
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

I was very disappointed in this item

I was very disappointed in this item. The end cap of the dryer has been loosened. The manufacturer could at least have fixed the cable in a clamping device. If they had had quality control it would have failed. This is indeed a security risk as you are dealing with a 220 volt 30 amp network. Not worth it for the cost. Coleman Cable 01854 Power Distribution Generator Extension, 30A Dryer Plug (14-30P) to 30A Lockable Outlet (L14-30R)

Pros
  • Tailored jacket material for superior flexibility and resistance to chemicals and abrasion
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
