Good price offer

Good braided wire. Used to mount the Carolina Windom antenna for my ham radio setup. Better than the more expensive braid from the hardware store.

Pros
  • 14 gauge black
Cons
  • Poor guide

This is NOT solid wire

Description says 100 ft solid primary wire. He is multi-layered. If you click on the product images there is a picture showing it but if you only rely on the description you won't know until you've placed your order.

Pros
  • 100 ft solid primary wire
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

It's best to check your gauge in the Electric Wire section

Make sure you get the right gauge. I bought three size 14 rollers and didn't think twice about it until I started using the black roller and found that it felt light. Upon inspection I noticed that it had two labels, one reading 16 gauge and the other reading 14 gauge. I measured with calipers and it is indeed a 16 gauge. The photos show a black and red spool correctly labeled 14 gauge. The rest of the wire is top notch. The strands are solid copper, high quality and the sheaths flex very well.

Pros
  • Handy spool size, handy for many different projects
Cons
  • Drill kit
