Review on πŸ”Œ Southwire 55667123 Primary 14 Gauge 100 Feet: Dependable Performance and Length for Wiring Needs by Brandon Micali

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's best to check your gauge in the Electric Wire section

Make sure you get the right gauge. I bought three size 14 rollers and didn't think twice about it until I started using the black roller and found that it felt light. Upon inspection I noticed that it had two labels, one reading 16 gauge and the other reading 14 gauge. I measured with calipers and it is indeed a 16 gauge. The photos show a black and red spool correctly labeled 14 gauge. The rest of the wire is top notch. The strands are solid copper, high quality and the sheaths flex very well. Apart from the hassle of returning the wrong gauge, I have no complaints. Nice to see quality American wire on Revain.

Pros
  • Handy spool size, handy for many different projects
Cons
  • Drill kit
