⚡️ Southwire LLC Bonding Plug for Neutral Ground Review

The surge protector on my RV showed open ground when I tried to plug in my inverter generator and was not passing power to my trailer. As soon as I plugged it in, it immediately changed status to good, and the power continued. Something so simple that I don't know why Honda or other manufacturers don't put it in right away.

I wanted to use a solar powered generator to charge my car. The vehicle's external "charger" performs a ground fault test and the alternator has a ground fault. I hooked this up briefly to an extension cord and then to a battery from a solar generator (Yeti) and now I can easily charge my car from the sun. I haven't tried my gas generator to do the same, but it should work the same way.

Bought a 2000W WEN 56203i Ultra Quiet Generator. amazed at how quiet it is 61db. The first thing I did was walk. I installed a 12 amp blower and something else. Now I have the oven at home, which is why I bought it in the first place. What does not work. After hours of searching the web MD: answer and drum roll. Surge Arrester Model 44400. Received, hooked up to generator and now it works. I was ready to box it up and send it back. Why shouldn't the manual cover this?

What do you need a connector like this for? When operating a portable generator with a floating ground using extension cords, rather than being permanently connected to a structure (whose safety grounding it shares in such a case), OSHA regulations require that the generator neutral conductor be connected to the generator frame. Installed a new Goodman GMVC80 Oven and the Ryobi 4000 Generator had a floating ground, I got a ground fault, Hot/New REV and the oven wouldn't start. I connected neutral and ground to this connector and it worked great. The stove caught fire when plugged into the fuse box. I know it seems scary, you may think it's a joke but it's not! Just plug this plug into a neutral grounded generator and you finally have a generator that is safe to use with extension cords and will safely run anything else
