Works well with Klein et300. I had to figure out what circuitry was in some of the overhead lights to replace some lights and I couldn't turn off every switch until I figured it out. I also renamed my panel as the previous person did a very poor job.

Supplied with alligator clips and a bulb holder. There is no adapter block with three pins for using the circuit breaker finder. A little disappointing. And the adapter with three pins on the alligator clips does not fit the circuit breaker finder. The ground pin plug is too close to two prongs and damaged the circuit breaker locator when I tried to plug it in.

I bought these to map my electrical box in the house I bought. Worked great with a different brand switch finder. Note that the lamp adapter has only 2 pins. So if your device has a 3 pin transmitter you will need a 2 to 3 pin adapter. The alligator clip part has 3 prongs, so you don't have to worry about this part.

My daughter had some electrical problems and I bought this along with "KlienTools Circuit Breaker Finder” to help her solve the problem. I could probably do it myself without these new tools BUT I wanted her to be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on my own. Along with a non-contact voltage meter (Chicken Stick), she had all the tools she needed to get the job done safely.

Since I needed to trace several circuits in our house and the breaker box never showed up on the map, I bought a Klein circuit tracing tool. It did a great job for the outlets, but I also had to keep track of some light switches and overhead lights. This little toolbox is just what I need and works great with the Klein tool. The price is reasonable and each of the parts is solid and complements my circuit tracing kit. Alligator clips are not light, but they are very strong. This is a great kit.

Electricity is used in our house. I bought it to shorten the up and down stairs to the basement. That's incredible! In an early 1940's home, wiring is a nightmare. Now we know which switch all outlets, lights, and ceiling fans are connected to. We also tracked down a couple of junction boxes that didn't seem to go away, but found where. I bought this to test some overhead lighting circuits. The adapter for the lamp does not work with the small tester. As many have noted, this is a 2-pin adapter only, meaning you'll need to add your own 2-pin to 3-pin adapter as well. That's bad, but even with one it doesn't work. This is a much needed upgrade for any switch finder. The added versatility of these adapters makes the tool much more valuable to me. The alligator clips are solid and everything feels well constructed. The only thing I would change is to add a ground connection to the lamp socket. Unfortunately, this appears to violate UL listing standards, so I felt it unwise to deduct a star for this issue.
