YES, IT WORKS - my new review

Despite reservations I bought one. It has worked well for me. It is one of the few devices designed to aid a one handed person that has worked as advertised .

Pros
  • Ergonomic design fits comfortably in the hand, reducing hand fatigue
Cons
  • The press-on mechanism can be confusing or complicated for those with cognitive impairments

Recommended on my review.

This nail trimmer works great for me. I'm recovering from a stroke, and it enables me to trim my nails without assistance, with only one hand. The only downside is, it's a bit pricey for an item that's mostly plastic. Still, I'm glad I have it.

Pros
  • Cuts nails smoothly, preventing painful and jagged edges
Cons
  • The press-on mechanism may be prone to breaking or malfunctioning over time

Do not purchase: my feedback

This item was a total disappointment. It is cheaply made. It fell apart several times and it was difficult to put back together. I returned it as quickly as I could and do not recommend that anyone buy it.

Pros
  • Highly recommended by healthcare professionals and satisfied customers alike
Cons
  • The clipper may not be durable enough to withstand frequent use or accidental drops

Disappointing: my feedback

I bought this product for my 84 year old Mother. As an occupational therapist I have used one-handed nail clippers, and this one appeared to be safer and provide more control. I found it to be very difficult to control, and the clipper itself was slightly convex rather than concave, leaving the nail with sharp points on either side. For the price I was very disappointed. Since it did not meet our needs, I have to buy another nail clipper.

Pros
  • Easy-to-use with one hand, providing independence for individuals with limited mobility
Cons
  • Works good but breaks fairly easy

Thanks to whoever invented this!

I broke my wrist and this product allowed me to cut my own nails without assistance. I did offer it to my mom who is 97 and suffers from Parkinsons but she was unable to use it.

Pros
  • Time-saving, allowing for quick and efficient nail grooming
Cons
  • The clipper may be difficult to sanitize or clean thoroughly

Great! Easy to use, makes clean, soft cuts.

Boyfriend only has manual dexterity in one hand but not the other. Got this as a gift for him and he was very excited and immediately started using it. He loves it. I like it too -- I find it makes a cleaner, smoother round cut on my nails than when I do a free-hand cut. I don't have any mobility or dexterity limitations myself, but freehanding anything just isn't going to give you the stability that this thing does. I totally recommend it for anyone with a dexterity limitation, or even just…

Pros
  • Designed to clip nails of all shapes and sizes, making it versatile for various needs
Cons
  • The clipper may not be sturdy enough to trim thicker nails

Great adaptive product!

Bought for my dad who lost function of his left hand due to a stroke. He was very excited about this product and some added independence.

Pros
  • Works well
Cons
  • Helps some
