Best value for money

Very fast reading and writing speed is very important for my work as a photographer. Silicon Power offers the best value for money I have ever experienced. and I have used many brands of SD cards over the years. I am using in my Pentax K-S2 which needs a fast card for best results. There are no complaints about the Silicon Power 64GB that I bought. It does its job really well and I'm sure it will last me a long time.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • unreliable

Works perfectly. I've never noticed any differences in read/write speeds or "durability" between memory cards. As capacities increase, new ones are delivered before the old ones wear out. 64GB can hold a massive amount of photos, so you only need to carry 1 card per camera plus a 'spare card' in case (and I've never heard of such a case) the card fails.

Pros
  • . Few competitors
Cons
  • Legacy

I bought 2 of these cards and each one outperformed what I thought was the best brand. Although all cards are Class 10, UHS-1, their performance varies widely. This card I can consistently assume is dead at 85MB/s. I got this card out of necessity and it turned out to be a very legitimate performance boost over what I thought was a card she would easily surpass them. We are talking about a margin of 20-30%.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Can't remember

Slow write speed, high read/download speed.

This is the cheapest 64GB SDXC card on Revain as I write. On the plus side it's cheap, reads fast, works in my camera, but it's the slowest writing card I have. If it was a more expensive card it would be three stars. I have a Nikon D5100 and the card works. The camera reads and writes to it with no problems, I recorded 1920x1080 1080p videos and the card worked. I have two card readers, a Transcend Super Speed Multifunction Card Reader (TS-RDF8K) and a USB 2.0 card reader that came with my…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I'll write later

Silicon Power manufactures high quality memory products.

My iPod hard drive has failed and after looking for a hard drive replacement I found an alternative solution that will make the iPod last longer. There is an adapter board that can replace the hard drive in your iPod. Typically, you connect a compact flash memory card to an adapter and then use it as a new hard drive for your iPod. However, you now have a CF adapter that allows you to use an SD card as storage, which is cheaper and more durable. I found a CF to SD adapter and converter online…
