Awesome Greenhouse in my review

I was worried this greenhouse would be too unstable for the New Mexico winds, but it has withstood gusts up to 60mph and winds ranging from 20mph-40mph throughout March. I did place it inside a 6x8 fence to reinforce it, and tied the support rope to the fence. Set up was very simple, it took me about 45 minutes to an hour to set it up alone. I did need help pulling the cover over the structure. I was able to start planting seeds in just about an hour. My son is having a great time planting his…

Pros
  • Perfect for urban gardeners and apartment dwellers
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those on a tight budget

We've grown many things in it

Overall happy with this greenhouse. We've started off several plants in here. I just wish they had a better anchoring system. It can lift quite easily in high winds

Pros
  • Reinforced cover resists tearing and UV rays
Cons
  • Can become a target for theft or vandalism

Serve its purpose well.

First time I used this was last winter. Its plastic and aluminum tubes, don't expect too much. While setting this up, I was afraid that the greenhouse might get blown away by the strong wind. But as I put my pots inside, I just made sure that some of my pots are sitting on the plastic sheets edge and tubes so that it can serve as an anchor too.Overall, it worked for my purpose. It protected my potted plant from the harsh winter chill (a lot of my unprotected plants died in the frost) And I was…

Pros
  • Easy to assemble with no special tools required
Cons
  • May require additional lighting for optimal plant growth

Flimsy - unsuitable for sun or wind.

I've had this since March 2014. First issue from the first week of ownership was lack of stability - a little wind (despite being tied down and in the least windy area I could find) and the shelves fell apart taking my plants and pots with it. They fell apart by the metal bars coming out of the fittings (what the metal poles fit into) from the back and forth movement caused by wind. Currently the plastic fittings, plastic tie down rope, and loops with the metal D-rings the tie downs connect to…

Pros
  • 75" Long x 49" Wide x 75" High
Cons
  • Need to regularly monitor temperature and humidity levels

Nice little portable greenhouse

I bought this portable greenhouse to overwinter some deck plants, instead of just throwing an ugly blue tarp over them. We assembled it today, and so far, I really like it. The only problem was that one of the connectors was split. I've requested a replacement, so will see what happens. It was very easy to assemble, and I could have done it by myself, but it went faster with the help of my husband. The sticky labels on each piece would not stay on long, so I used a permanent marker to label…

Pros
  • Protects plants from harsh weather, pests, and animals
Cons
  • Can be expensive to repair if damaged

Good but not great best in my review

We're coming up on having owned this for two years (purchased in 2015 for around $75) and it's still standing. There were plenty of mixed reviews so we weren't sure just how long it would last but with a few modifications it's still standing and we plan to use it this Spring to start our garden. Thank you to reviewer Sarah K. that posted her modifications!- Assembly took maybe 30 minutes with my husband and I and two crazy dogs running around- All pieces fit but felt a little flimsy (you get…

Pros
  • Provides a controlled environment for starting seedlings
Cons
  • Can be difficult to move without disassembling

Cold outside and our seeds have germinated !

Product is as I expected. I thought there was shelves on both sides, but they are only on one side. The green house heats up to over 80 deg. during the day when it's only 40 deg out side. I added a heat lamp at night to keep the green house above freezing. We started are seeds about 3 weeks ago in mid March in Michigan. It is now early April and most of the seeds have germinated as expected. My 11 year old daughter and I assembled the green house in about an hour. Make sure you un zip the door…

Pros
  • Reinforced polyethylene cover and roll-up zippered door for easy access
Cons
  • Might not be strong enough to withstand harsh weather conditions

Good for the price in my review

Not a large greenhouse, but good for holding my seedlings before they are ready for outdoor planting. I think if I were to leave it up all winter it may become damaged because the plastic isnt that thick and the poles aren't so sturdy. We have it placed in a well protected nook nestled between the house and the deck where it is protected from the wind somewhat. I don't think it would last long in high winds without any windbreak or protection. For our purpose, only using it a few months in the…

Pros
  • Shelving provides additional storage and organization
Cons
  • Requires consistent upkeep, such as cleaning and replacing damaged parts

Not the Best but is what it is

My parents have purchased several of these plastic greenhouses over the years. Now that I have my own place I wanted one.First disappointment I had with this was that there are only shelves on the right side not the left, usually with these there are shelves on both sides that make it a bit more sturdy and balanced.Because there are only shelves on one side it is a little ricky and EVERYtime I have set this up it has blown over on to the right side. I tried stakeing it down, weighing it down…

Pros
  • Walk-in design allows for easy access and movement within the greenhouse
Cons
  • Not environmentally friendly

Perfect for small spaces. Large enough and love the shelf!

We don't have freezing weather all the time, or even every winter here in Sacramento, but when we do, bringing in all the plants is just not an option. We assembled this on the corner of our patio outside and it is perfect. We added strings of old fashioned incandescent "holiday" lights along the edges of the shelves that kept the temperature just above freezing. It was easy to assemble (I had a friend's 20-something son do it for me) and except for a couple of fittings that had to be…

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • May not be secured to the ground
