    Mostly satisfied but annoying to align

    This is better than the standard screw gauge it replaces but with machines like this I feel that Spare Air (as a company) use these gauges when installing all can point up. It's a minor annoyance, but the annoying thing is that my sensor is basically upside down when attached to my spare air tank. For $40 per device, they should do more to fix instances of sensor misalignment.

    Practical need for replacement air

    It is fine and works well. I would give it 5* but it is so important to Spare Air that it shouldn't be added. It's like the famous horror story of a car dealership that sells you a car and asks if you want tires for it. This ensures that the reserve air is properly filled and pressurized. It's not necessary for emergencies (you've got what you've got for emergency climbing and knowing that doesn't change that), but it's certainly nice to know you've got 3,000psi to start with.

    Leakage Gauge leaking

    Gauge leaking during installation. Replacement ordered - the same. Yes, I used a silicone trident. Factory new 300 N, - with pin gauge that holds air. The used gauge O-ring and dial indicator worked. dial stock. I have contacted the spare air, I hope they at least send me some o-rings? IF your gauge is leaking - try a pin o-ring or a new o-ring. I was about to give it a star just because it's a hassle to re-order and return - and need to replace the o-ring. But I stopped at two because the…
