Great product. Very easy to install. You literally remove the spare tire, unscrew and disconnect the stock headlight, connect and install the new headlight, and put the tire back on. The hardest part of the whole process was aligning the holes when reinstalling the tire. That thing is heavy! The light is very bright and looks great behind the spare wheel. Plug and play with a protective sleeve to keep cables from getting crumpled. love it

Sturdy construction. Ease of installation. A dimmed appearance when the LED is off compared to other LED burst rings which show white dots when not lit. The only thing I have is that the sheath doesn't fully cover the wires going into the plastic case. But you can reinforce this with black gorilla tape. Let's see how long this light lasts. So far I like it a lot and it's very visible at night.

I bought a cable crimping kit. It took about 10 minutes total to connect this villain. Cut off the existing third tail light connector and run some longer wires to the existing wires on the LED tire light and you were done. Thread some wire around it and looks fantastic. In fact, I was impressed by the light itself, because it's not just bulbs in a circle as shown in the picture. It actually has a tinted cover over the LEDs giving it a very clean look. For some reason I wanted to check the brake light when I left work tonight. I found out by accident that in less than 5 months only half the lamps are working! So far so good after one day. It wasn't difficult to install by myself. I sandwiched it between a Teraflex HD tire holder and a Yakima bike rack mounting plate. He is well centered. Connecting the wiring was as easy as cutting the wires from my old third brake light and using crimp connectors to connect the new one. installation was easy, the brightness is good and seems to be well made. I have a problem and it's partly my fault. The wheels on my Jeep are 15 inches. I wanted to add this to my stock as an extra security measure. My YJ Jeep Wrangler didn't have a third brake light. So I started completely from scratch. Routing and connecting the cable wasn't difficult. The problem was that the diameter of the LED ring nozzles didn't match the wheel holes I had. It sits just behind the hard part of the wheel.
