"Versatile and Reliable SBC

As a result of my tests, I determined that this development microcontroller from SparkFun is a versatile and reliable option for any project. It has an impressive range of features and comes at an affordable price point. The built-in WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities make it easy to connect to other devices, and the variety of GPIO pins and sensors make it useful for a wide range of applications. The only downside is that it can be a bit difficult to program for beginners.

Pros
  • Compact and easy to use microcontroller with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for seamless communication with other devices.
Cons
  • Does not have as many input/output pins as other microcontrollers, limiting its flexibility for larger projects.

Great introduction to samd51 and Circuitpython

Sparkfun nailed it here. Amazing little processor, supports Micropython and Circuitpython. The perfect price to get started right away. plug and play Mu editor added support for it this week, so anything I can do with Adafruit, it can. I bought this for a small robot, worked great. I love red, I always notice that. no major complaints, it just works. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Single Board Computers
Cons
  • For the old

Big performance in a small form factor

I am currently evaluating various boards that support Arduino. Since they come in all shapes and sizes, this will be an ongoing task for a while. I used to treat Arduino solutions like craft toys, but I've realized the family has grown. So far, the NodeMCU ESP32 has been on my favorites list so much that I keep starting a new project with it. I have a feeling the SAMD51 chips that came out recently could change that! This Sparkfun Plus thing has a major advantage, as it packs an ARM processor…

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Compatibility
