I bought this to charge my phone for the 1000 mile trip I was about to have. This thing got caught in a pretty heavy rain while in use on this trip and never had the hiccups. I hid it under the windshield to keep the rain from hitting it directly, but there was splashing.

went through several options to find one that would charge my phone really fast and finally found this one. Works great, the longer extension allowed me to run it up in the seat rather than just through the access panel on my '19 Harley Road King.

Works very well! The wiring is thick and long enough to run from the battery to the front hood of my 2016 Goldwing. The SAE connector works in two ways for me. I can connect it to a charger to charge the battery. Or I can connect a dual USB adapter to turn on my phone for navigation/music when I go for a walk. Ideal!

Great little USB port. Weather resistant, well designed unless you tie it to a motorcycle frame. The lid gets stuck and there is no easy way to install it. If you're buying this for a motorcycle, buy it with a mount. Yes, it's more money, but it will save you a headache in the end. No problem damaging my battery. On the other hand, I have a good stator. It's clear that others should give their bikes to someone who knows their stuff.

Love this adapter, the fact that you can remove the adapter and leave the end of the battery compartment is great. This is useful for any other accessory you may have such as B. heated gloves/coats etc. The part I don't like is the on/off switch. They claim it's waterproof except for the on/off button. At least it definitely doesn't look waterproof. I don't care since I won't be using that switch anyway. So my solution is a small dab of silicone sealant over the switch.

I connected it to my bike by tying it to the fuse box and attaching it to the bottom of the handlebar. My phone mount is in the same place and I have a short USB cable running between them. A second port is available to charge my helmet's connection at the end of a long day. I like the cover as I ride in the rain all winter. I don't need a switch on the side, but that's not a problem. The power indicator on the plug is a nice touch. As long as it lasts a while I'd say it's worth it.

I needed a Quick Charge 3.0 adapter to power my QuadLock motorcycle charging head. QL used to supply a USB adapter but there was an issue with their design so buyers now have to fend for themselves as they no longer include a power adapter. This adapter works great, no problems after six months of use. The supplied SAE extension cable is much larger than necessary, so use a more suitable SAE cable. Everything else is fine. If it were my product I wouldn't call an electrical device "sparkling"…

I bought this to charge my iPhone on the go. I have something similar on another bike. I put this on my Ninja 1000 and it killed the battery. I thought ok maybe the battery really needs replacing (Arizona heat destroys batteries) so I bought a new battery (safe side, DID NOT KNOW the product was faulty and didn't want to get stuck somewhere with no tools to jump over) Installed a new battery, making sure it was fully charged beforehand.
