Great little USB port. Weather resistant, well designed unless you tie it to a motorcycle frame. The lid gets stuck and there is no easy way to install it. If you're buying this for a motorcycle, buy it with a mount. Yes, it's more money, but it will save you a headache in the end. No problem damaging my battery. On the other hand, I have a good stator. It's clear that others should give their bikes to someone who knows their stuff.
