🏃 Men's Shoes for Spartan Race Craft Running Review

This shoe has excellent drainage for both water and mud! The boots are durable and the shoes are easy to clean. I would recommend only using this on soft ground as the soles don't offer much cushioning as this will affect drainage. I have personally run 10 miles on snow, ice, sidewalks and streets. I'm very picky about shoes. Normally, new shoes are needed every 6 months. When I saw that they were covered by a one-year warranty I had to give it a try, assuming I'd get a free pair in a couple of months. I'm 5 months old and it doesn't look good. They are still robust and have slight signs of wear. Very impressive

I really liked the design of the shoes, unfortunately I found that their size is not suitable for a wide foot. I usually wear a size 10.5 Extra Wide and found that neither 10.5 nor 11 fit. They were both too tight and even seemed a bit short. For people with normal foot proportions, however, this shoe is simply great!

I bought them hoping they would survive the Savage race, although some reviews said they weren't. I still have to clean them but today we rode the whole race and it was GREAT! Water was removed quickly after wet obstacles and they dried out very quickly, traction was great for the most part, I think once the front lugs wear down a bit they will be better for walls/ramps. Highly recommended! This year I will run the second race with it!

I spent about a month breaking in these shoes for shorter runs and even cross training when I could. They fit tight like soccer shoes. I raced the Spartan Super in Vernon, NJ and about 1/3 of the race it felt like I had no skin on my pinky toes. By the end of the race I had scraped my pinky toes on both feet. Pretty unfortunate to be honest but the skin was on top of the toe so I managed to work around that somehow. This is bad. Okay, the grip on them is crazy! Running over mountains, rocks…

After walking 1.5 miles on the pavement to blow them apart, the stitching ripped on the very first Spartan race I ran with them. They were comfortable enough on the run, but it's disappointing they didn't even have a single OCR season with them.

Nice shoes, too bad I can't wear them. The size is good but tight. Too bad they don't offer a wide version. You can try 1/2 size bigger but I think it might be too big.

Get the exact size, do not take shoes slightly larger. Everyone's boots got stuck in the mud or slipped on hard mud. I love these shoes, they are really good as water shoes too.

I only wore them for one race and almost broke my ankles. Yes the terrain could be better but I think trail running and running shoes will do the job.

I bought these a week after having to walk in the mud because my previous shoes didn't fit me after my foot surgery. I didn't have time to break them in but they still did well over a 5km distance. I have flat feet, sensitive feet, there were no complaints. I would definitely recommend her. I have 2 runs left and if they don't hold I will update my rating.

My husband bought these for the Spartan Beast in Big Bear, California. The shoes were perfect - true to size (he usually wears a size 9), great for all hikes/trails. The boots were obviously filthy from the race, but cleaning was easy - he hosed them out and used some Dawn soap. Costs money!

I've run a Spartan 5K and a Mud 5K where I was at least two feet in the mud and they stayed and I've done a Spartan 10K and a Military Snatch 5K on grass and in regular shoes and they do a big difference.
