Speakman S 4001 E15 Reaction Fixed Shower Review

I have purchased and used the 1.75 and 1.5 GPM versions of this shower head and it was the best $25 I have ever had or spent. Got my shower back to normal in an old apartment building with poor water pressure on the top floor. Worked so well I bought another 1.5 GPM for my house with a tiny water heater and now I never run out of hot water even when showering with roommates. Feels like an old school shower but saves water and energy. Use less hot water! Great design!

I just moved into a new apartment and hated the basic Moen shower head that came installed. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new one, but I couldn't deal with the lack of water pressure. I really like this shower head. It increases the pressure really drastically without adding that "air pumped" feeling that I don't like in a hotel shower. So it works very well and I'm very happy with it. So why 4 stars? Two reasons. First, the head doesn't rotate at all. I like the shower head described in Consumer Reports. Bought on her recommendation. Delivers water very well, soft jet. No adjustments like other heads. Comes with white tape to wrap and screw down the pipe and there are no leaks around the joint. I really appreciated the white tape they sent with the head. OMG! I LOVE THIS SHOWER HEAD! I spent so much money looking for ways to increase the water pressure. We're at the well. We have a pressure vessel. I would like to thank RLB for the review. I literally "stopped and bought" the product. I am very grateful that I read this review. I LOVE THIS SHOWER HEAD. I can't explain it... it has a "soft" jet but with great pressure. (Video narrator explains why.) My "phew" body is foam free in less than 5 seconds, the water doesn't hit your whole body, it doesn't tug on your eyelids or hit your eyes, it's gentle but always feels still look like you're going to get full flow. I bought a 1.75 gallon shower head expecting it might feel like 2.5 gpm or close enough.
