The buckle is a bit big but other than that they are great straps!

I was looking for a belt that was stiff enough to fit a concealed carry holster and adjustable enough to fit well with a variety of garments and wearing conditions, and at the recommendation of military friends I found this belt in the target hit. It's the right width to fill most 2" cargo belt loops (cargo shorts, blue jeans, tactical pants, Carhartt style work pants), really anything you wear a BDU belt with. .I would have preferred a less bulky buckle for a more streamlined look, but that…

Very disappointed I have 3 other Spec-Ops Better BDU belts (.

Very disappointed I have 3 other Spec-Ops Better BDU belts (other colors) and they very stiff ,durable and my favorite straps for work and play. But this one came out of the box feeling like wet noodles.I don't know if they changed the nylon type or what but it's not the same quality as my other 3.I I tried wearing it in the field and it folded in the belt loops when wearing it! I HATE IT! I would give this belt 0 stars but it won't let me. Don't get me wrong all my other SWAT- Belts are just…

Light, strong, durable and resilient

I bought this belt to replace the one I already had, tan. I bought one at an army store. This belt literally went to war with me and supported my holstered personal weapon (m9 Beretta, heavy) without chafing or stretching. It was comfortable for the whole day. The belt is still in great shape after 6 years. I've never found the plastic buckle to be a problem and I have heavier straps. I prefer this one for everyday use because it's lighter and easier to unzip. What's also great is that it…

Pros
  • The unique "flip-tab" buckle design makes sizing and adjustment quick and easy.
Cons

It was much better before the change.

I have owned this belt since April 2012 and it has been running for over 3 years now. I mainly use it for everyday wear with a pair of pants I currently have. It supports my waist and back when lifting heavy objects. I also don't have to worry about only having a certain number of holes like with standard straps. It can stay in place and be tightened securely. The reason I gave this product three stars is simply because of the new design. The buckle on this belt gets in the way when sitting or…

Pros
  • Will not set off metal detectors and is EOD safe Use

Very secure webbing

I really like this harness. I first bought a Better BDU belt about 15 years ago when I was in the Navy. It outperforms traditional cloth straps as it is thicker than most straps and stays where you put it in the morning. My buckle from my original belt was metal as opposed to this new belt which has a plastic buckle. The paint on the original buckle has worn off but other than that it's still held up just as well as the day I bought it. I decided to get a new belt but still wanted to stick with

Pros
  • The new HD webbing is specially designed to carry loads such as holsters and other belt attachments.
Cons
  • Outside
