Without a doubt. You look at these odd-looking kitchen gadgets, and when you turn the petals of baby flannel flowers over without making a hole in the petal tip, that's your "aha!" moment. I had 120 sunflower petals that needed to be turned inside out. This would not have happened without this tool. Worth every penny. I have 2 in case I can't find one.

I sew a variety of things, mainly bags and purses, and thought this would be very useful for my projects. I found it awkward and awkward to use, and the lace can tear cotton if you're not very careful. It's just as easy to twist it out with your hands, sometimes easier. This makes sense, but is not 100% necessary. If you want all the tools, it might be worth a try.

I think this will work if you make tubes/tape a bit bigger and not as long. I tried 4 different designs (1" and 1 1/4" tubes) and couldn't get any of them to spin. I also couldn't get close to the rod length given in the description (or what I saw in the YouTube video). I believe it will work, just not for the sizes I've been working with lately. Save - may be useful in the future.

I was so excited to get the EZ Point and Turner but found it useless for turning thin strips or thin fabrics. In the wedding and evening dress I have to make narrow straps and jewelry. The EZ Point is too thick to work with 1/4" pipe and the 1/2" pipe was difficult to work with brocade and heavy satin. Worse, the paint had a lot of chips and dents. There was no way I would risk snagging the fabric. I think I will continue to use other methods.
