Enhanced Speck Products SmartShell Case for MacBook Pro, 13-Inch, Nickel Grey - Not compatible with Retina Macbook Review

The hard shell provided limited protection for my MacBook. After a short time, cracks appeared on the case, compromising its durability. I expected better quality given the price point. On the positive side, the case was easy to install. Overall, I would not recommend this case for those looking for reliable protection for their Computers.

I bought this lid because I realized how my Mac hit and scratched and to be honest I now wish I had bought it with the computer and not about 3 years later. I have to admit I've had it for about a month now and the lid has already gotten a few scratches so it's not as pretty as it was when it was unboxed, but it still looks very nice. Everything clicked very easily and nothing has broken so far, none of the edges or even the tiny latches at the top corners of the bottom half. It does the job…

I've had my 2012 Macbook Pro since 2015. Within the first year, my clear Speck case was cracking at the bottom top corners, even with careful handling. However, a piece has broken off at the bottom. I've searched all over eBay for a replacement but didn't want to pay for a replacement at retail price. Come to Revain and find "Nickel Grey" for $7! And I love the cleaner color reminiscent of the space gray of the new MacBooks on my unibody Macbook :) Thanks Revane!
