Speck Products StyleFolio Purple 71805 C256 Review

I received a black blanket and the one I received is actually dark blue. I think I prefer black so it doesn't really matter to me. The case is slim and fits the Mini 4 perfectly. I haven't dropped it often so can't speak to durability, but I'll update my review if my little one drops it a few more times. I like that it has an auto wake/sleep function. I also really appreciate the plastic clasp because it stays closed when it's off and I can snap it when I want to keep the case open for reading.

This is a fair price for a very reasonable product. What's most important to me is that it fits my mini4, it's the Speck form factor I love and it's the exact color I want (which Speck doesn't sell directly). There are a few minor manufacturing flaws (really minor, see photos) that make me wonder if this is real bacon (or indeed fake) but they don't bother me. I bought this case for my iPad mini 4. The black, white and gray botanical theme is accented by a plum border, adding just enough color. It fits my iPad pretty snugly and I'm not worried about the tablet falling out of this case. This was my second purchase of the same suitcase (the other one is attached to an old Mini given to me by my mother and kept for sentimental reasons). It completely covers the pillow when not in use but is not bulky. UPDATE: This purchase failed after <5 months of use. I had another photo showing the plastic torn. I contacted the seller and they blew me away even though it was my second purchase. Wanted to give them a chance to get it right but they failed hence the update.

I bought the stylefolio and I'm disappointed because the case doesn't have a sleep/wake function. Thought it was defective, exchanged it for another one. The new one had the same problem. So I contacted the manufacturer of bacon. Apparently there is no auto-off feature on this model, which doesn't really make sense to me.
