Fits XJ 1999: Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

Great for my 99 xj. It's a bit smaller than the original though, so like the others I wrapped it in rubber to match the metal bracelet. Also, it's raw aluminum, not painted black.

Pros: I have a box with something in it.

Spectra Premium 0233568 AC battery PROS: Came in a box with something inside. Cons: Block in a box of another brand. The block (which contains the desiccant) was not properly sealed.

It took some modifications to get it working on a 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4.0.

I had to get creative to fit this to a 1999 Jeep Cherokee. Outside diameter is smaller than OEM. This will result in the backup tape clip not holding it securely. Luckily I had an old serpentine drive belt that I was able to cut and put under the belt to tighten securely. Also, the suction line, which is held in place with a single lock nut, doesn't seem to fit the way I'd like. It held a vacuum and didn't leak once installed. If you can find a better quality part that's at least a little more…
