This is a good unit, it fits perfectly. The only problem with this was that when I opened the package the seal around it was already broken. I used weather glue to reinstall the foam gasket. So far it works fine on my jeep. I checked the temperature coming out of the vents, it was around 120 degrees. It's 180 degrees in the jeep and the outside temperature is about 42 degrees.

So it was installed for about 3 months. It's in a 2000 TJ Wrangler 4.0L. It was almost exactly the right fit. The small tab holding the two tubes together was slightly bent and needed some bending. If you're trying to get the job done, a slight bend with pliers won't scare you. I've seen complaints that it's not that warm and doesn't generate enough heat. So far so good. I installed this heater core on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee about a month ago. It takes a long time to work, but I had no issues with the fit, form, or function of this part. Do yourself a favor and replace the A/C evaporator core and fan motor while you ripped the HVAC box out of the dash. All the parts are cheap and trust me you won't want to do it again.
