Terrible Heater for Chevy Vehicles

Based on my experience, this heater is a complete waste of money. Despite advertising compatibility with Chevrolet models, it failed to provide adequate heat during colder months.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Inadequate heating capabilities

Shorter than my 90 G20 van. But the warmth has returned.

I bought a return so I hoped they sent me the correct core, in the core I received the tubes were slightly bent together, I splayed slow them down 1/4 inch so they could get through the firewall and start installing. The first thing I noticed was that the core was about 1/2 inch shorter than the old core, I bent the bracket holding it in place a bit and let it come straight to the reservoir. The case kinda holds the core in place, I shook it a few times and it didn't budge so I installed it in…

Pros
  • unit was leak tested to ensure product quality when installed
Cons
  • thin

No mo wet flo is good for heater cores

Why did I buy this heater core? Well because it was the cheapest I could find. Was it a good idea (given the pain in the rectum to install it)? Well, it just so happened that I got lucky. I decided to replace my old heater core in my 84 Mallard Chevrolet G30 RV because it kept peeing on my floor. Of course I have rubber instead of carpet, but you can only deal with that as long as it doesn't get a little annoying. The proverbial pain of replacing the radiator in almost every car in the world…

Pros
  • Carefully crafted tanks for strength and durability
