Nice white sand colour! I used maybe 3 pounds from the 5 pound bag I ordered for my 3 gallon tank. I didn't have to wash the gravel. The water was very clear after adding water. Happy with the purchase.

I understand the stones are heavy but I was expecting the bag to be a bit bigger, you really won't get much. It's also VERY white. Not like white natural stone, but like white polystyrene. It doesn't look natural.

High quality aquarium gravel. Looks great and works well. Easy cleaning for complete cleaning of the aquarium. A small amount of dust when brand new, which could be easily washed off before installation. Will definitely buy again if needed. A+

I washed them several times; Soak in fresh water until next rinse. I did this for 48 hours as directed on the packet and when I added it to my set tank the water was very cloudy. I did two water changes and the cloudy water lasted about a week! I lost a total of 3 fish over the next week.
