Good value for the best diff covers

Good looks, bolts on well. The chrome bolts weren't screwed in properly so I used my original bolts, some sealant on both sides and no leaks.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not the best

good case in parts

This is a nice and quality case that fits my 1988 GMC k2500 perfectly. The only downside is the screws were tight so I just used the old ones. looks nice. the price was reasonable too.

Pros
  • test year
Cons
  • quick guide

Wrong seal fits spare parts

Lid fits great! All holes fit well, no problems installing. The only reason for 4 stars is that the gasket that came with it didn't fit. The seal is not designed for this GM 14 hole pattern.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • High price

DO NOT USE SCREWS!

Case looks great and feels solid. However, the included screws are very tight due to the chrome, which resulted in me smashing the heads of a couple trying to insert them. Trust me, use old screws, paint them chrome if you care about aesthetics.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • So-so

Nice thick case. A decent looking gasket, no filler hole or filler plug.

I put this on my 2009 Sierra NHT - it's basically an incomplete float with 14 bolts and 6 lug wheels. I didn't use any gasket or screws. I had pits so thought Permatex would be the best sealer. There's certainly some chrome on the rails, so I think you'll have to thread onto bare metal to use it. My biggest complaint of all was the lack of a filler plug. My bridge didn't have it. I cut the filler plug off my old cap and welded it to the new cap. I also painted everything black.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
