Great, except for that orange.

This color set is great BUT OR1 is TERRIBLE! So I made color samples from this pack and attached them to this review. Yellow is great, but when you see orange next to other oranges, it just doesn't go well together. And in total there are only 3 oranges in the noir spectrum markers. So I'll definitely have to buy some orange ones, but I don't mind. All of these are great markers.

Pros
  • Enjoyable

I love these art markers

So I know everyone loves copics! I love my Spectrum Noir! I replenished my stash during Tuesday morning's fun, but they didn't have the yellow undertone. Here I have completed my list. These are great markers. Some people don't understand this, but if you watch some of their youtube videos you will know and understand how to make them work even better than copics. You will save a lot of money by using these markers. Great for art and card making! I love her!

Pros
  • Perfect for artists, stamps, paper makers, adult coloring books and more
Cons

Spectrum Noir pens rock!

I love these pens and they come in all colors. There is a wide range of colors in the yellow set, they last a long time before you need to refill and there is a standard large and thin tip that works so well if you are using color. I find them much better than Copic pens because I prefer the fine tip to the brush that comes with Copic. The inks are similar if not identical, each alcohol based and smelling the same. Price difference. Spectrum Noirs are by no means cheap, but they aren't as…

Pros
  • Each marker is reversible with a bullet tip for fine detail and a broad chisel tip for filling large areas
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Good choice, especially for hobbyists

I'm by no means a professional artist, so I find it a bit difficult to spend big bucks on high-quality supplies for my hobby. I love the effects you can get with alcohol markers, but I didn't want to pay more than $8 for a single marker from a brand that's considered the cream of the crop. I bought them as a compromise and I have to say that I have completely changed. I don't feel like I'll settle for second place anymore – those marks are top notch. That doesn't mean there are a few quibbles…

Pros
  • Acid-free, non-toxic and safe to use
Cons
  • Some little things
