It's great for the price. I've combined this with two cheap camera flashes and have been able to get great results. Take care of your gear and you'll be fine. I'm just an amateur photographer and this is my first time using them.

Perfect price! This is not the highest quality, so not for professionals. But it is perfect for the hobbyist. The hot shoe clip feels solid. Umbrellas are ok. The stands have clips that allow for easy height adjustment.

These umbrellas and umbrella stands are a great start at a very reasonable price. They work much better than I expected and appear to be made from durable materials. Umbrellas and flash mounts can later be replaced with better or more durable items. But for beginners or people working on a tight budget, they will get the job done for a very low price.

So far, so good. I've used a few times with good results, both with and without umbrellas. So far the stand has been solid enough for my needs. Update from 08/03/2020 The carrying bag was torn today (see photo). Has an approximately 4 inch slit along the seam near the risers. I'm still happy with the rest of the equipment. The large bag didn't hold up very well, so I'm deducting a star.

This is a great basic kit for entry-level studio lighting. Inexpensive and offers good value for money. I bought it with the idea of mainly using it at home rather than carrying it around which works great for me. For those interested in heavy use of this set I would recommend looking elsewhere as the quality of the material is such that the set does not last (especially the umbrellas). I only gave it 4 stars because one of the white umbrellas had a tear when I inspected everything after receiving it today. The stands below look nice and the head mounts are great, they're metal and not plastic like some other companies. This is a really great set and I am very happy with it. I don't need a lot of lighting equipment now that I photograph almost exclusively concerts, theater, dances and gallery events. However, I do outdoor portraits so I need something lightweight and budget friendly. I was surprised at how well made this set is for the price. The coasters and umbrellas don't wobble as much when set up as I would expect in this price range. However, the flash mounts themselves are a bit cheap.
